CI Author for Forestry

CI Author provides the physical security and logical management of all hard and soft copy documents uploaded to, stored in or produced by CI World.

As well as providing text reports on information held in CI World, the CI Author module is used to prepare and produce waybills and invoices based on information captured by the system. Similarly, data capture screens can be configured to record details of asset utilisation such as the amount of fuel that is used in vehicles, tachometer readings and the driver details which can then be compiled within the CI Author functionality to produce detailed reports on asset utilisation.

Data held within CI World can be manipulated and exported through CI Author as reports for viewing on screen or printing. In the case of data gathered using CI Earth, the information can be produced directly as a graphic by overlaying captured data points into Google Earth for immediate visualisation. The data can also be exported into other digital mapping applications for enhanced land planning.

Forestry management reporting and legal compliance

All data reports created by CI World can be filtered and stored or printed through CI Author. The module can also be used for the uploading of regulatory documents which can be viewed online by clients or regulators and confirmed as being in order.

Paper-based records are open to fraud and often errors are found too late to put things right. With CI Author, there is immediate notification of error. This module can be used to reduce stock losses, enhance performance and aid planning.

This module forms the basis for management reporting within the CI World environment and enables flexible report writing and document generation.

CI Author also allows for the production and cataloguing of secure barcodes, identifying which barcodes have been issued to which users and allowing an additional layer of security when it comes to using barcodes to tag assets being tracked in CI World.

All report formats generated by CI Author can be delivered printer ready or can be exported to other formats
